Let’s Work Together

TFP Sessions

Q: What is TFP, and how does it work? TFP stands for Trade for Print — a collaboration in which both the photographer and model contribute their time and talent in exchange for images rather than payment. I select TFP partners based on creative compatibility and current project needs. If selected, we'll connect to align on concept, location, and scheduling before your session date.

Q: Who qualifies for a TFP session? I work with models at all experience levels — from first-timers building their first portfolio to seasoned talent looking for fresh creative content. What I look for is professionalism, punctuality, and a clear vision for what you want from the collaboration.

Q: How many images will I receive? You'll receive a curated gallery of fully edited, high-resolution images — typically between 10 and 20 selects depending on the length and scope of the session. Every delivered image is color-corrected and retouched to my standard quality level.

Q: How long does a session last? Most TFP portrait sessions run between one and two hours. Exact timing depends on the number of looks, location changes, and the creative scope we agree on in advance.

Q: Where do sessions take place? All sessions are on location across the greater Denver Metro Area. I work with a variety of environments — natural landscapes, open fields, urban settings, and architectural backdrops. Location is selected based on the concept we develop together.

Q: What should I wear? Come prepared with at least two to three outfit options that reflect your personal style or the agreed-upon concept. Avoid heavy logos or busy patterns unless they're intentional to the look. When in doubt, we can discuss wardrobe during our pre-session consultation.

Q: How should I prepare for the session? Get a full night of rest before your session. Arrive with your hair and makeup camera-ready, unless we've arranged otherwise. Please be on time — out of respect for both of our schedules, sessions that start late will end on time.

Q: How long until I receive my images? Edited images are delivered within one to two weeks of your session via a private online gallery. You'll receive a download link with full-resolution files.

Q: Can I use the images on social media and for my portfolio? Yes. You are welcome to use your TFP images for personal portfolio use, social media, and comp cards. I ask that you credit Michael Evans Photography when posting online. Images may not be sold or licensed to third parties without prior written agreement.

Q: Do you offer paid portrait sessions as well? Absolutely. If you're interested in a fully custom portrait session outside of TFP, I offer a range of portrait packages for individuals, families, and professionals. Visit the portrait booking page or reach out directly to discuss your needs.

If you're interested in working together, complete the form with a few details. I'll review your TFP request and get back to you within 48 hours.
